Here's something my wife asked for. She does a lot of needlepoint. It's used to hold skeins of needlepoint thread. She was complaining the ones for sale only have 6-10 holes. That's not enough for a full project. ...and they charge $10-20.
This would be great for crafts sales. I made the holes 0.35 in diameter. As many holes as you want. Use about 0.25 wood. That should be a nice profit. Less than 2 minutes to cut. Batch 'em out. Vcarve needle/thread pic, initials, etc. Make different shapes. Use 'Copy Along Vectors' to make hole path around your shape.

Thanks for sharing.
I'm going to make one for my wife also.
One suggestion, on the holes use a profile cut instead of a pocket it should go faster and you can use the Ramp - Spiral options which will save the end mill.

Re: Needlepoint Thread Organizer
I used the pocket so I wouldn't have to worry about chunks leftover. But, now that you mention it, a profile would cut the entire hole out because of the size of the bit. A new trick.
