" Oh la vache !!! "

Post by jejeadx »

Bonjour

Nice clean design.

To clean up some of the edge issues try using the Curve Fit tool under Edit Object. Most of the time when importing vectors I've found there are way too may nodes and this will effect the smoothness of the carving.

I'm not sure what edit options are available under VCP4.6, but here's a few suggestions to look at if available.

As far as the creations of the offset outline around the cow try the Offset tool under Offsets and Layout (If I translated your comments correctly). The oval is also a simple issue in VCP

Bonjour,

Best regards

That is one nice piece of work. Simple and to the point.
Clean but full and nice placing of the elements.

I hate to say this ( I may be the only one) but there is 1 flower I would have put
someplace else. LoL

Thank you all for your replies. Yes I'm going to upgrade to Vcarve Pro. I have more and more specific needs for photos or logos. Here is a log house made with Photocarve. Nice result with a walnut board.
Best regards

Love the cow. You could add a bit of visual interest by moving one of the flowers so it is partially outside of the oval.

At first I thought this post was about a Monty Python bit: Fetchez la Vache!
