When I decided it was time to try making a few extra bucks with the cnc, I realized I needed a sign and designed this one in V Carve Pro and cut it out of mdf. The blank was pre-painted metallic gold and covered with vinyl. Then the background was painted and the vinyl removed. The carved out mdf leaves a pretty rough background but that’s okay for this sign and it isn’t noticed from normal viewing distance.

The image was just printed out on the laser printer, cut out as a circle, and pasted in the pocket.

I was hoping it was that simple
Looks really good, worthy of a sign maker.
