First attempt at throwing some color into a CNC'd sign. I think it turned out good, and the recipients like it so that is what counts. It's a iconic lighthouse on Peggy's Cove, in Nova Scotia.
Also made a prop for the reception:
And had a chance to play with some 6060T6 aluminum, making a couple of award plaques for a local drywall company. Logo was milled from aluminum, then a decal was inset into the cavity to create the gradient. Finished off with some epoxy to seal in the decal and mounted it to some oiled Chechen wood.
