Finished up another engraved peppermill that was done on the rotary attachment. Filled in the engravings
with coffee grounds and CA glue. On one side is a LSU tiger head and on the opposite side is Louisiana
and Fleur-de-lis.

Nice!!!! I have to give the coffee grounds a ca a go sometime. Do you just mix them with the CA and then smear them into the v-groove? And I assume sand later back to a smooth finish.

After doing the engraving using a v bit, I pack the coffee grounds into the engraved area and then soak with CA glue.
Sometimes you may have to add additional grounds after sanding.
I have used both, fresh and used grounds. If they are used, you have to let them dry out first. I have an old coffee grinder
from when my wife use to buy whole beans to grind our own coffee. It reduces the grounds into a finer powder so
you can get it into small carved areas.
