The Lord's Prayer
This started out as a 1" piece of cherry wood. It was made for an elderly woman with no family who visits her - at our local nursing home. Before she unwrapped it-she had tears in her eyes.........

Re: The Lord's Prayer
Very nicely done but the real goodness of this is the gift to a very nice lady.
The best things I do and have done are projects like this.
Thanks for posting and reminding us that being paid with feelings means more sometimes than money.

Thanks Mark! It is my 4th project that I have done for residents there. Thanks for reminding us all that the real gift and blessing is in the giving.

Nicely done and well received.
Same feeling I get when I make gifts for the kids I speak to at STEM schools. You can't buy that feeling.
Thanks for sharing.
What is that font by the way? Really looks crisp.

Very nice! Is that a Design & Make model? I also like the font.

Yes-the engraving is from Design and Make. The font is Times New Roman. Thanks

What a nice gesture! We need more people like you in this world, especially when it comes to our elders. We will all be there one day...
Keep up the good work!

Lameiii - I believe this is it. If you go one level up on the site, there are other clasped hand variations as well. If you type religious into the search block, you'll get all sorts of other items as well.

It was a 60 degree Vbit. It took about two hours including surfacing . Thanks
