I definitely would be happy with that after 6 yrs cutting....Never MIND my first project! :)

Oh....to satisfy my curiosity...is that quilted Big Leaf Maple?

Thanks for the kind words Scott. I just call that type of maple "curly", it's probably from a Big Leaf Maple. I was going to make an "end grain" chessboard, but changed my mind when I saw how beautiful that curly maple looked!

That's a beautiful board. When I first saw the maple it looked like it was textured. Your first project looks better than my last project. Keep em comin.!!!
