I had an idea to make a fireplace but I didn't know how I would use it. Maybe a picture frame?
So I did a search for "fire" on Design and Make and the Phoenix was one of the images it came up with.
I think it needs some better transitional elements on the edges....

I haven't responded yet, because up until now, I didn't know how it would be finished. We gave it to my sister, Erica. She's the painter in the family. This is what she came up with.
