Looking at galerdude's sign a little more I do like the distressed look of the lettering area.

galerdude, was this a graphic that was vectored or did you create it from scratch?

Thanks for the comments, John.
It was originally a color photo found on the web. The lettering was already distressed. Brought it into graphics software (Flexi), changed it to a black & white and vectorized it. Eliminated the center of the graphic and put the v-twin graphic in it's place. It also had a '19' & an '03" where I put the two stars. Did a little fiddlin' with some of the vectors but not much. Can't remember the site location but can probably be found at a similar link that you gave Dwayne for the V-twin.
