Glenn,
Would you post the toolpaths that you used to create the profile of the photo
you posted. using the molding tool I get a cut depth thickness exceeds material thickness error . After struggling a while
with it and watching videos I decided to just to ask for help.

I didn't try molding but have seen sloped bowls here I believe that used molding tp
I just used a flute toolpath, there are so many variables but this is the basics I used quickly with 1.5" material and a cut depth of 1.6 and intended to cut thru, it would have to be located and edge clamped for interior, should be easy ... another inward offset profile vector could be used to cut the inside, shallower of course ... a large stepover (less copies) would create fluted appearance that I like and have done on shaped bowl interiors
