MIA Plaque

This is a plaque d did but would like some help on making it better. Some of the littering chipped out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is you material, tooling and speeds you are cutting at?

Sorry I should have added the tool and speed. I used a Tapered Ball Nose - 6.2 Deg Tip 0.016, 0.25 inches at 12000 rpm feed rate of 40 ipm plunge rate of 10 ipm. The material I used was flame maple.

First I see areas of the lettering that the bit was too large to get out. What might help is always cut with the grain. Right now you are cutting against it, which can cause tear out.

Try running it with a V-bit and a flat area clearance tool selected.

Hello,
You might want to look at this old thread about similar MIA/POW plaques done some time back that has some files attached that could possibly be used if you have not already done that. There are different variations of Vectric software used and files available for Cut2D on up to Aspire 3D models posted by James who actually began this post. Hope something here will help you out.
