Rotary work

Post by blmac5 »

Still playing around with my rotary attachment for my CNC. My daughters F-I-L is a big Harley fan and has two Harleys that he rides. So, I decided to make him a pepper grinder with the Harley logo engraved in it. Then, we have good friends that live in Texas, so I engraved a TX. Longhorn on one side of a piece, rotated it 180, and engraved the TX. flag. I filled in the engravings with coffee grounds and sealed with CA glue. The colors of the flag are transparent paint. I'm really beginning to like the possibilities on what the rotary attachment can do.

Very nice work. I really like the pepper grinder mechanism you're using.

Can't wait to finish my 4th axis.
