A few months ago, we posted pictures of a 5-sided end table.

The sides were straight and angled, and I mentioned that I'd like to experiment with having curved sides as well to see how that looks. We just got it finished.
The side panel consists of a dome. The dome is stretched into an oval and then 3D models overlaid. A profile around the edge with a ballnose was transposed onto the 3D model.
Thanks to Marty for the patience for all the trial and error we went through to get the design right.

Re: Five Sided Table with curved panels
One more picture that really shows the curvature of the panels.

Your trial and error certainly paid off. This new version also looks great!

Re: Five Sided Table with curved panels
I created one picture that shows both tables, the curved panels and the angled, straight panels, so I could compare the two.
