Hi.
Very new to the CNC world. Bought my first CNC machine and got it set up. This is the very first thing that I cut. Still lots of learning to do, but been lurking around the site for a while. Great to see such good info.

The first project is always the most exciting (and sometimes a little scary!). Congratulations - your project looks great!

Re: First Project
Nice work for your first try. You picked a tough one for you first. I did something simpler for my first. I still have most of the things I made in the beginning just to look back.

Re: First Project
Funny you picked that for your first project. I just did the design for that last weekend and was like what the heck did I do wrong several times. I commend you for tackling that right off the bat. You have a future ahead by getting the fundamentals for that one done early and the sky is now the limit. Have fun and dont look back. This is a great hobby and this forum has wonderful experts to help when you get stuck. Always ask and there is someone here that can help.

Re: First Project
Congratulations on completing your first project, I won't comment further as it may be taken the wrong way.
I would like to see it again however once it has been sanded, finished & painted/stained because it may look completely different

Re: First Project
Thanks,
That's right off the machine....lol
Was probably a lot to take on the first one, but did like it and figured give it a shot. I've still have lots to learn no doubt and look forward to learning as much as I can.
I've been reading on here lots and looks like a very helpful group and looking forward to doing a lot more.
