Three piece chicken dinner

Back when I was a kid, many many years ago, my dad would take small bits of scrap wood from his wood shop and make little things for the kids. While looking for something in my scrap box I ran across one of dad's projects. It made me smile and think back to those times. So I decided to modernize some of the methods and build one of his scrap wood projects using my CNC and some scraps. Kids of all ages get a kick out of them. Great little hand outs. And I believe dad is smiling down on me.

With regard to the lettering. How did you do the black? Did you spray them black then sand off the excess leaving the letters black?

Used a paint brush then sanded the excess off.

Nice
I have seen a variant of that it says "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" then you open the box and it's a hard boiled egg. :D :D
Think I like this one better though.

And your are right Martin now days alot of the younger set would quickly tire of this as it does not have any electronics.
Sad but a true part of this era.

Hadn't thought about that, wonder what would happen if I carved a USB port in the side :D :D :D

That would be awesome or just cut out a spot for one and push an old usb port in it.
It would be hours of laughter for the older set.
