Without Music Life Would

Post by W3LMR »

IMG_6592.JPG
I had a one inch piece of African Mahogany 8" wide and 22" long. I found this on a free scroll saw web site. I changed the pdf files into Vcarve files. The stain is Golden Oak applied by brush into all the tool paths to give them all a darker look. Then the same stain was applied by hand rubbing the remaining plaque. I then applied one coat of hand rub polyurethane. There are some music lovers in my family. Thanks for looking!

"Flat" as in not "Sharp"

Love it! Would you post the file so I can make one too?

Thanks everyone for the great comments & laughs! I did not post the files because I got the idea from this website: http://stevedgood.com/catalog/

Just type in music in the search field: I changed his pdf files into crv files. Again-Thanks!

No, those are notes. It's kind of a play on words. Bb in music is said as b flat. So the sign reads without music life would be flat. As in boring or uninteresting.

No music major here but I believe flat notes are identified with hollow notes i.e. not solid and are reversed from what is shown. But my dyslexia could be kicking in.
