This probably isn't gallery worthy, but for anyone assembling their own Dust Deputy to use with their CNC it might save you some time.
I used a .125 endmill and a center datum, cutting a total depth of .25". I used a screw to hold down the lid in the center, then zero'd X, Y, & Z (about 1/16" above) over the center of the screw

Re: Dust Deputy - Mounting Hole Pattern
Excellent. I'm using a dust deputy with shop vac currently and this file will be handy if the top gets damaged. I have a SteelCity dust collection system that needs to be relocated. CNCs generate a lot of wood waste and the shop vac won't be able to handle things long term. Especially since my shop vac is about 15 years old.
Thank you..
Thank you..

Thanks for the effort:)
Use the steel canister DustDeputy on both our Shopbot Desktops and with a Fein II with HEPA it's a perfect combo in the shop.
Highly recommend for small machines.
Pic is HEPA filter and canister after almost 2 years use with no cleaning except dumping the Deputy.
