Over two years ago in response to seeing Randy Johnson make a wooden chain in American Woodworker magazine I decide I wanted to make a chain but also use it for something somewhat functional. So I decided to make a working set of giant wooden handcuffs to fit the chain... clearly the only logical conclusion... are they pointless and silly, yes indeed however they are quite amusing and a good talking point so well worth the effort.
I recently made a newer, nicer set and sorted out the files so I could do a write up on our Labs Blog and share the files (VCarve Desktop, Pro or Aspire V8) and a video showing how to assemble them.
You can read all about it and download the files here: http://vectriclabs.blogspot.co.uk/2015/ ... .html#more
If you decide to make some you obviously use them at your own risk!
Cheers,
James
