Sure, the inside roundover uses a 3/4" radius point roundover. I use Magnate 7517: https://www.magnate.net/ProductDetails. ... tCode=7517

The petals toolpath uses Magnate 7592, Roundover with radius 2" Diameter. https://www.magnate.net/ProductDetails. ... tCode=7592

Let me know if you have any other questions. Andy

What a great idea. The tulips look fantastic! I think I'll attempt to make one for my wife, daughters, daughter in law, and granddaughter. What type wood did you use? Where did you find it 1.75" thick? How did you round off the bottom of the flowers? Thanks / Rick

Hi Rick, glad you like the tulips. We basically use any hardwood. We can get it that thick because we cut it ourselves. As is shown in this case study on us, https://www.vectric.com/cool-stuff/case ... rtman.html, my dad Marty has a portable saw mill and cuts the wood and dries it himself. So he has all kinds of wood in all shapes and sizes. I can imagine it might be hard to find material for this at your local Lowes. Perhaps glue together 2 1" thick pieces? Maybe someone else can offer some advice on this.

The bottom of the flowers were rounded on a router table with a roundover bit.

I hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll glue up some poplar and give it a try when we return home next month. I'll keep you posted.
