Started this dollhouse this weekend. Doesn't look like much yet, but there is going to be alot of detail. Hopefully it will be as good as the train I made my Grandson, her brother a year and a half ago. Drew everything from an old plan I had, and will all be cut on cnc.

Good start if the windows and shutters are a clue about the detail :)
She going to be helping you out at any stage?
Planning on trying any furniture for it?
Post pics as you go please.

Very ambitious! You've got a lot done already! Can't wait to see it as it unfolds!

Made some progress the past 2 weekends, but other things have come up too. Looks ok, but I have made mistakes. My granddaughter will just have to realize her Grandpa sure isn't perfect. doing bay windows and front door today.

Don't be so hard on yourself, only person that is going to worry about any mistakes is yourself, bet your Granddaughter doesn't even notice, to her it will be perfect. Hope to be able to make something like this for my Granddaughter one day, got no where near the skill required to take on a job like that just at the moment but as she isn't here yet & isn't expected until the first week in April I have a few years before I need to make it for her
With a bit of luck I will have made sufficient progress by then to be able to make it.

The bay windows are outstanding! If you don't tell us what the mistakes are, we won't notice and neither will your granddaughter! It is one-of-a-kind and she will love it!

I'm really enjoying watching this come together. I've got a couple granddaughters that would love getting one of these!
