Been working with my new cnc for 9 days now. Already found work making a few signs. These all had to match previous designs. So I got some much needed practice in fitting vectors to bitmap imaging. All in all it's not a bad process to learn .
This one was relatively easy. I just had to clean the tree up a little.
Working in v carve with this one was tricky at first because the recessed carvings leave the edge of the sign, but I wanted to maintain the outline for the stars. This is where I learned to use layers.
The client wanted to paint the top two signs himself. I will post the finished product when he is done.
And last but not least a simple v-carve. But it was very well received.
