Wooden Fire Truck

Post by pbeehler51 »

Been doing the fire truck thing for about 5 years, the last 2 with a CNC. The trucks are in 1/18 scale.

Thank you all. The Body, cab and pump area are "skins" over wooden blocks and there is about 200 parts glued on to an fire engine and over 500 for a ladder truck

Excellent work. Have you done any older fire trucks?

Awesome work. You should consider selling plans for one or more of these. These are so good, I can't imaging your not getting a lot of buyers. Several firefighters in my family who have kids. Plus the fire department holds an annual auction with funds going to a foundation that helps families with injured or deceased firefighters. I would love to do one of these but with this detail, I wouldn't even know where to begin. And maybe not the patience for more than one per year. Incredible job your are doing. Thanks for posting. Makes me want to become a better woodworker.
