I have down loaded the box maker gadget in to vcarve pro 9.5, when I make a box it cuts the tails but no pins, Am I doing something wrong?

Have you gone through the example video on the download page?

The most common problem is to have the start node on the wrong end of the vector but that usually means the pins are on the wrong side rather than missing altogether so it sounds like you're missing a step.
