unable to install any gadgets

Hi
iv installed the trial version of aspire 8 but am unable to install any of the gadgets.
when the installer screen comes up, where it says "select components to install" there is nothing to select it does this on all the gadgets.
Do the gadgets work with the trial version ?
iv included a screen shot. im running Windows 7 home, installer started as an administrator.

I am using V-Carve Pro Shopbot edition (v. 8.017) and I am also having the same issue. When I download the dogbone gadget in any browser there are no components to install. Thanks.

The gadgets have now been updated to install on Shopbot Editions sorry for the inconvenience

I have vcarve pro desktop and I get the blank box when it ask what items I want to down load. What do I need to do to fix this

I do not believe that Gadgets are supported by the Desktop Versions

Gary is correct. If you look at the product comparison page here - http://www.vectric.com/products/desktop ... rison.html - you can see that only the Pro version supports the gadgets.

I too cannot install any gadgets.

I am running Windows 10 and VCarvePro 8. When I attempt to install a gadget I am only given an option to install components for V7. If selected, I am next prompted to upgrade to V7.5 and the install fails. These attempts were made with admin access.
