Balancing/area gadget

Post by Kayvon »

This is a gadget I wrote for balancing clock hands. It can be used to determine the total area of an object and tell you how balanced the object is left-to-right. Usage is simple:
  • Highlight the object to want to balance
  • Rotate the object so it's balancing left-to-right
  • Move the object so its pivot is at x=0
  • Run the gadget

Silly question.. after unzipping the gadget how do you import or install it into V Carve 8.5?

Oh, don't say that. I'm looking for the same answer.

Make note of where you unzipped the gadget.
In VCP or Aspire click on File->Open Application Data Folder
A Windows Explorer window will open to VCP data folders.
Click on Gadgets.
Copy the Balance_Gadget.lua into the Gadgets folder.
Close Explorer window and restart VCP.
