Hi Heime,

Sorry you are unable to view the video. This may be due to it being embedded into the web page.

What I have done is added a link below the video on the project page, which you can click to view it directly on YouTube. You may need the YouTube app installed on your iPad, this is dependent on your device settings though.

I hope this helps.

Hi Stu,

I had the same issue with my iphone and ipad...the embedded video doesn't show up. However, your direct link works perfectly! Thanks for the fix!

Hi Michael
Would it be too much trouble to either add metric conversions or decimal inches to the instructions?
I am not very conversant with the Imperial system and have ruined a piece several times by punching in the wrong number.
Those fractions are double Dutch to me.

The software will do the calculations for you. I'm metric through and through as well but my customers often order in inches with fractions.

You can enter things like "1 15/16*m=" which will convert 1 and 15/16ths of an inch to the metric equivalent or if you just want it in decimal inches then don't enter the "*m" part.

A handy chart that I refer to. I got a copy hanging on my wall and also in a handy access file on my computer.

Hi Wolffie,

Actually, you may notice I have been stating the Imperial measurements in decimal for awhile now (for exactly the reason you stated). Having those measurements in decimal makes it "easier" for folks who prefer metric to make the conversion (I guess!).

I have no plans to go back to previous PDF instructions for editing Imperial fractions to decimal, though.
