Michael, this newest project GREAT!! I just watched the video, and the paint job is fantastic. I expected a long, drawn out, multi-step paint job. Not so! I think even I can make it come out pretty nice.
Now I've got to spend some time and take apart your crv3d file to see how you drew the pipes, etc.
thanks....
Gerry

Re: POM - Faucet Picture Frame
Thanks, Gerry!
I included the two-rail sweeps and half-circle Profile with the project. These were used to create all the pipes and “fittings”. This should give you a head start on “picking it apart”!
(The faucet could have been created with rail sweeps, too, but I scanned a real faucet with my NextEngine laser scanner, then merged a few model items with it in a separate instance of Aspire. That process alone would be a three-part video tutorial, itself!)
I hope you enjoy the project!

Re: POM - Faucet Picture Frame
Michael,
Wow, you keep outdoing yourself !!!
I thought of another use for this project. Instead of the photo inside the frame I’m going to insert the logo of my local plumber’s company. Great piece to hang on their office wall.
This project may have to get moved up in my project queue.

Thanks, Ron!
That’s a great idea for your local plumber and sounds like fun!

Michael,
Holy cow! Awesome project!
You make the painting look so easy.
Definitely on the "to do" list!
