Sign help
I am trying to make a sign for my class but after typing all the letters, when i got to toolpath, it it tells me i have 125 open vectors and they are in groups. It says i should ungroup them and join them; I am new at this and any help will be greatly appreciated so i can cut the sign for my class. Thanks.

Re: Sign help
Posting the file would be helpful to see where the open vectors are and how to fix the problem. You can use the vector select function and select the open vectors and see how to close them. Maybe try different fonts also.

Re: Sign help
Do you not have to convert the text to curves before you apply tool paths?

Re: Sign help
No, all the toolpaths work on text objects. Text has to be converted to curves for some operations but not for creating toolpaths.slowdigits wrote:Do you not have to convert the text to curves before you apply tool paths?
