Free Valentines Project for Aspire!
We are delighted to announce that the first Aspire project created by Michael Tyler for Vectric is now available for download.
With Valentine's day nearly upon us, now is the time to make up for all those hours spent mumbling about feedrates and tool geometry by making something special for your long-suffering partners and loved-ones.

Here at Vectric we would like to think that we may have helped, in this small way, to secure you another year of untroubled tinkering in your workshops and garages!

Re: Free Valentines Project for Aspire!
That looks like a project that would help my machine and I to stay out of the doghouse...if only I had Aspire. Any chance of getting a VCarvePro or Cut 3D version of that project.

I agree. This is posted in V-Carve as well as Aspire and it would seem between Cut3D and V-Carve, this would be a do-able item but alas the file format only works with Aspire. Looks to be a great item though.zeeway wrote:That looks like a project that would help my machine and I to stay out of the doghouse...if only I had Aspire. Beautiful project, just to bad that it is only in Aspire3 and not earlier Aspire versions or Vcarve so that us that don't need the newer versions or can't afford to upgrade to them could get some use out of them too. Guess it all comes down to marketing

Thank you very much for your input.
Some of the future project releases will be using features that didn't exist before the version 3, although admittedly, this first project could certainly have been accomplished with a prior version.
I am really enjoying creating the projects and find the features and improvements in Aspire 3 do make the process a little easier than when I was designing/modeling in prior versions. It was a personal preference to work with the newest version of the software due to the added features and streamlining of the overall workflow.
Thanks again for your feedback and comments. I do appreciate it.
