Trying to get my feet wet - Weeke BHP 200 questions

Post by Chesapeake WW »

I have a Weeke BHP 200 that i will be using with V carve pro. it doesnt seem as though the
"HOMAG .mpr" toolpath save is able to be read by my machine. it conveys the material size and thickness, but shows errors for toolpaths and tools. And ideas? :?:

I am not familiar with your machine, but there is a .pdf file in the post processor section that gives information regarding using your machine with Vectric products. It may provide some help unless you have already read it.

For convenience I've attached the file below.

Hi I am also using a weeke bhp200,I save toolpath file from Vcarve as a mpr file and import it into the mp4 file on the cnc,I also save the toolpath from vcarve as a ply file ,(giving it the same name as mpr file) and import it into ml4 file on the cnc, if there are have toolchanges, each tool has to be saved as a seperate ply file and imported into ml4
These are then brought into woodwop seperately and tool nums assigned,Although this does work it is quite tedious, and open to mistakes being made, if there are a lot of toolchanges.I have contacted the Vectric staff about having a proper postprocessor and they have been very helpful. Unfortunately as yet Weeke has not been very helpful in giving them the infomation which is required, perhaps if you also asked they may respond.hope this is of help and if you would like any more help Ill be glad to assist. Harold

Thanks Harold

The Homag Weeke ATC issue has been bouncing around for far too long,
so if you could put some pressure on your Weeke supplier to provide more
information, we might be able to get this matter resolved :(
