New Post Processor

Post by ronald4418 »

I've found a new cnc controller software package that as far as I can tell has that magic price tag. It's free.
What I need though is a post processor. The software is posted on the www.******.com website as *****. I've tried all of the post processors for VCarve and they all end up being unusable. The controller is looking for a gcode file with a .mmg extension.
Dores anyone have any idea's?

EDIT - by Brian

Please note the software refered to in this post is NOT free. It was posted on a machine manufactureres web site for the convenience of their own customers

Hi All,

The link Mark posted above (which I have removed, as well as editing the original post) is not a link to free software. I have dealt with the company in question before, and the software is posted on their web site as a convenience for their own customers using their brand of machine tool, it is not meant to be 'free' .

Regards

Brian

Hi Corrie,

Are you running CNC Pro from Minitech?

If you are, I think this controller runs with standard GCode and you
should be able to use the GCode postprocessor available with the
Trial version of VCarve Pro.

Let us know if you need any help with this or have any further questions.

Tony
