Shopbot postprocessor

I have a brand new Shopbot PRT, not Alpha. Should I use the (arcs)(inch) ot the (inch) processor? What's the difference?

Phil,

You can use either one, but if you have arcs in your drawing, the (arcs)(inch) post will give better results with less code. You can use the (arcs)(inch) post for everything though. If there are no arcs in your drawing, it will process the toolpath like the (inch) one does.

Tony or Brian,
I just change over to Vcarve Pro Ver 3.1 and try to save a toolpath to Shopbot second head post processor, but it wasn’t listed in the list. Try to copy the Shopbot _head2_inch.pp file from the Vcarve Pro 3.0/PostP folder to the Vcarve Pro 3.1/PostP folder but didn’t see that folder list in the program folder. Where is it? Also try Version 3.0 to do this but now it wouldn’t now because the file was save in version 3.1. Also can I get the (arcs)(inch) version of the Shopbot _head2_inch.pp file. Thanks Mark
