Post Processor question

Is there a PP that outputs arcs in the I J K format instead of point to point? How about G41 D2 and G42 D2 for cutter comp right/left? Just curious as I just bought Vcarve because my machine should be ready in a week or so, and I wanted to play around with it. I'm a machinist and am used to to looking at programs using IJK and G41 D2 and being able to tell exactly what the cutter is going to do. Point to point, I can't tell. Again, just wondering. Thanx!

Hi Jason,

Good questions, but at the moment VCW only outputs linear G1 moves.

Support for circular interpolation G2 & G3 is on the development plan.
Cutter Comp is more complicated and something we will look at in the
longer term.

Like I said, no big deal, I was just curious. Now that I own the software, I'm going to have to really get my butt in gear finishing up my router! Also, when will version 3 be out? Thanx again!

We are planning on releasing V3 towards the end of June.
