Gcode Buffering

Post by olf20 »

I posted this on the Mach3 forum. Hoping someone has had
a similar problem and a solution.

We are running mach3 ESS with designated version and updates.
Some times when we run a file (in air) we need to make a tweak.
We will hit feed hold, stop, rewind and have the program take us to
0,0,0.
Then when we reload the program, or a different one the mill
will make a strange move as if there is some code left???
Any thoughts how to clear out any code?
It does not do it every time.
ESS or Mach problem.
Thanks for any help!

Never had that happen on any of my machines over 5 years of running.
What version of Mach3 are you running?
Version 62 is the only one I will run now as the others all seem to have something that doesn't work correctly.
I have ESS also on one machine and parallel on the others.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Version 62 is what I'm running also.
Thanks for the reply. It worries me a
little with the unexpected moves.
