Multicam (AXYZ) M1 machine

Post by Mustard »

Can anyone tell me the correct post processor to use for the "toolpath" software used on Australian Multicam and AXYZ M1 machines? The only one that appears to be loading properly in the Toolpath softwae is the AXYZ A2MC (mm) post processor, but the A2MC system is a lot newer than the system my machine runs.

I hope this all makes sense....

I use the "Axyz5010 Arcs ATC(inch)(*.nc)" post.

i have a AXYZ 5010 with a toolchanger, and am running the older software.

I don't use "Toolpath" that often, I prefer to use "DNC" when doing 2D work. I normally use tool path when doing my 3D work.

You don't have to use "DNC" but it sure speeds things up.

I'm not sure what software your using, but I believe the PP is included in the processor is included in the list in Aspire.

Thanks for your reply John,

I am using VCarvePro 6.5. I can't find AXYZ 5010 Arcs ATC in inch or mm. I can find AXYZ 4140 Arcs ATC, but this gives an image in the Toolpath software that is very skewed, and doesn't show the proper shapes I am trying to cut. The only post processor that seems to translate in Toolpath is the A2MC post processor which has got me confused as my machine doesn't use the A2MC system.

This is my machine: http://multicam.com.au/m-i_series.html or known as the AXYZ Millenium: http://www.axyz.com/sys/router/millennium/
