egx-300 spindle rpm control

I have an egx-300 cnc engraver and am using Vcarve pro. All settings withing the tool settings are ok, but as for the spindle speed I have to set it manually by the machine's knob. Software does not overides automatically. Is there a way to correct this, by editing the postprocessor?

Does the control software have commands to control the spindle speed? If the control software can't do it via file commands then VCarve won't be able to do it.

yes the software has spindle control, from the tool profiles.

Have a look at the other Roland post processors (mdx-650 for example). From what I remember from forum threads in the past it's possible to select a range of speeds but not to specify an exact rpm.
