vector unwrapper

Post by jseiler »

I keep getting a bounding box error no matter what shape I try. Circle, oval, triangle. Same error. I must be doing something wrong. Any ideas?

The shape needs to be centered in your material when you unwrap it.
Select the shape
Press <F9> to center it
Choose Gadgets/Wrapping/Vector Unwrappper

If that doesn't work try making the shape smaller.

on the wincnc the "a" axis is run in degrees nor inches per minute, try programing feeds at say 2000 and test what happens, i run at 4500 +

Sorry, do you mean that you have the problem or you have fixed the problem?

If it is the former, go to "Toolpath" menu and set "Use Radius for Feedrate"

Then enter the appropriate value in "Rotation Radius" DRO on the settings page.

I meant that I had fixed that one. Its going pretty well. The G540 are a good combination. Now I need zero switches and a zero setting plate.
