Finally Trying the Wrapping

Post by larrybadgett »

I have a ShopSabre 48x96 with WinCNC and a rotary indexer and have done some rotary work before but i'm just getting around to trying out Aspire to get this done. I have my project to the stage of generating the code but i',m not finding any PP for ShopSabre other than the ones i've been using all along and it doesn't change the Y to A. Do i need a Different PP and if so does anyone already have it? I thank anyone in advance for the PP or instuctions for editing a PP.

I see five Shopsabre PPs in the standard list.

If you tell us which PP you currently use I will have a look at it.

Also what configuration your rotary is in and what it is designated as.

I'm using (ShopSabre_inch_lines_arcs.pp), my rotary is on the X axis and the rotary is disignated as A. Need to convert Y to A. Thanks so much for the quick response so early in the morning.

LOL....... It might be early in the morning for you.

For me it is nearly midnight and I am off to bed. :D

I don't have that PP. The only one I have, which has arcs, is the plasma one. Not that that matters as you do not use arcs for rotary axis work anyway.

Have a look at this one. Untested so take the usual precautions.

Got code with A's in it. Thanks a bunch you saved me a lot of time and trouble. It will be a couple of hours before i get to test it out though it is still dark here and we are currently having and ice storm so the electicity could go out at any time. I'll wait for better chances of the elect not going out. Have a great night! :)
