Rotary Tutorial

Postby Rcnewcomb » Wed Jan 13, 2010 3:46 pm

I'm in the process of putting together a Rotary Machining Tutorial. This is a work in progress. I'll bump the thread whenever I make major additions. I hope to have it completed by March 2010.

Please PM me with corrections or suggestions.

Randall,

Many thanks for all the hard work, I am sure you have saved a lot of people (me included) many hours of trial and error.

Awesome! :D I would encourage Vectric to add this to their Technical Archive. Thank you so much for doing this.

I've added additional material including a section on replicating an existing design in Aspire for rotary machining.

Excellent work on the tutorial Randall. I plan to set up a rotray indexer soon, the parts are in the mail. The Aspire Rotary Wrapper, John Seiler's post viewtopic.php?f=38&t=7173&start=0, Bill Schober's post viewtopic.php?f=29&t=7862&start=0 and your tutorial have motivated me to get going.
