First rotary on the new machine
I used the same design I demonstrated at McGrew's Aspire Camp.

Thanks. Haven't yet got around (no pun intended) to fluting. However, I too had the 4th axis itch for a few years and finally saved for one of those (relatively inexpensive ca. $252 all-in) chinese "kits". Works for me.

Re: First rotary on the new machine
Great to see these projects guys!
Randall, what I love about your example is how quick it is to cut!
Bobtail, lovely use of the clipart, how long did this take to cut?
Mike that Hammer is great! Would you care to give us a little more information about the build?
Thanks for sharing all!

About 1:40 using both a rough and finish toolpath (I could have skipped the rough and will going forward as I have gained some ability to gauge when I can do so).

That's great! I'm going to play with some quick designs on the rotary in our labs!
