not doing as expected

Post by MORGAN46 »

 I am new to cnc and having a bit of a problem
I am trying to mill a small statue of nefertti
first attempt I used a vector boundry and when milling it gouged out a deep hole
I read on the forum make the model slightly larger than the work piece ( width ) this I done and then set the toolpath to model boundry
the roughing tool path looked ok
but when I then go on to do the finishing toolpath it starts in the wrong position
the only thing I change is the z height for the new tool

ps cant upload the file as it says file is to large

3D Roughing 6mm bn.txt
(201.34 KiB) Downloaded 283 times
these are the toolpaths if it helps
on the finishing toolpath I have deleted all the data from the center just leaving the start and end as it was to large to upload
any sugestions would realy be appreciated
