Van and Paul...
I will be explaining all the components of a rotary, along with reduction ratios and why, step resolution and why for those that may wish to build their own. This also applies to current rotary owners of generic, shop made or OEM products to help them understand limitations caused by blank diameter, reduction etc. Physically you should be able to have plenty of info to make informed build decisions regarding hardware.
On the software side I know that a good number of control software brands will be covered, hopefully all. We are attempting to entice OEM support from the brick and mortar companies, but cannot speak to what level of info will be available for Mach or Linux, as they seem to be user supported. But I am sure they will be well represented. I may not be able to offer setup info for them, but I am sure someone in the room will be able to assist.
