Wrong axis in G Code

Post by Shobud »

I have a 4 axis machine. X,Y,Z, and A. Im using Aspire 11.0. When i try to do a rotary job the toolpath generates the A axis to X axis. In other words the G code has no A axis commands. Im sure that it is not Mach3 because the g code is generated in Aspire. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

What post processor are you using to save the g-code? i.e. does it have “rotary” in the name?

For mach3 you need to use the wrap X or wrap Y post processor depending on the set up you are using
