Saving a 4th axis toolpath to WinPC-NC processor

Post by Colin L »

Looking through the list of post processors on Aspire when going to save a rotary toolpath I cannot seem to find a processor listed that will read to WinPC-NC. I understand that I need to choose a 4th axis processor when saving rotary work. Can anyone point me in the right direction

Regards

Colin,

There is one post processor in the wrapped section for WinPC-NC. I am not familiar with your machine or that control system, but assume you haven't found this on your own.

If you start Aspire and select File>Open Application Data Folder... it will open a directory where the post processors are stored on your computer. Dig down into the PostP folder, select Wrapped and WinPC-NC to find the post processor. Copy this and paste it into the main PostP folder, then it will appear in the pull down menu when you save the toolpaths in Aspire.

If this doesn't work, the best thing to do is contact support@vectric.com directly and include all the information about your machine.
