Pheasant panel

3-Pheasant panel carved into spruce. Finished with two different stains.

Very nice project Greg. Good choice for the wood and I like the edge treatment.

Thanks for the kind remarks.
The outer edge I did with the modeling tools to give it the hand carved look as shown on James Booth's DC1 DVD.

Excellent! I too like the outer edge and its good to see techniques shown for one application used in different places. Nice job.
Would it be OK to use an image of this on the website assuming that at some point in the future I get round to updating our gallery?
