Lake Scene Eagle With Bass

Post by Phil »

I'm very pleased with the Wildlife collection. This is a scene that came from a photo that a friend took. The models in the collection made this possible.
This eagle with bass scene was inspired by earlier post. I couldn't find the thread to give credit.

I like how the eagle wing tip extends beyond the carving boundary.

Nice touch. :)

Thanks guys,

Anyone who's seen the plaque comments on the wing extending into the frame. It was a happy accident. I had put together all of the other elements of the scene and added the frame last. When I did I realized that the wing went beyond the inner boundary of the frame. I liked it so I kept it there.

Phil - nice layout and finish, good to see.

rej I am afraid the license does not permit the sharing of files made with our models.

Thanks,
James

If that is an accident, you need to buy a lottery ticket. If you want to see real accidents......look in my scrap pile in the garage.
I save them to keep me humble.
Very nice work!

Jim, this was a happy accident. I also have some that I will not post pictures of. Some have wound up in the burn pile.

Rej, not all of the clipart is from Vectric. I purchased it from another source and I don't have the rights to give it to someone else.

Looks great.

Just an Idea

I wonder if there would be a way to share, placement, size, depth etc of the models without sharing the models....

That way something like this that uses all stock models (DC1) could be shared between users who have the same models....

Just a thought

Paul
Thanks

Paul,

I don't think it would be very difficult for someone who owns Aspire and the Wildlife Collection to duplicate a scene such as this one. I started out with a digital photo which presented me with many of the essential details of the piece. The scale and relative placement of various components were in the photo. I added the Eagle and Bass to he scene, they weren't in the original photo. If you look at the examples in the Wildlife DVD you will see that components in the background are fairly shallow in depth and components in the foreground have greater depth.
The scene I created is 7" x 11". The picture I posted could be used as a template to place the various components. There was a certain amount of tilting, fading and sculpting that makes the components work together.

Randall,

I see you've found your inner stooge. :D I like the new Avatar.
