Top Tip for Design and Carve 1 Users

Post by JamesB »

One thing I neglected to document (due to timing of creating them) is that on the Design and Carve 1 - Wildlife disk there are two very useful Aspire files. These files contain all the animals and all the scenery components. The benefit of this is both these files can be opened in separate sessions of Aspire then the parts can be copy and pasted from them into another session you are actually working in.

The Animal file is located in the sub folder "Animals" which is in the "Models" folder on the disk and is called "All-Animals.crv3d". The Scenery file is located in the sub folder "Scenery" which is located in the "Models" folder on the disk and is called "All-Scenery.crv3d". You may need to un-group some of these before copy and pasting them but this should be a time saver over using the regular import function and finding the files you want.

Cheers,
James

Hi James, I knew the folders were there, but I believed they were for viewing the complete libary of profiles. Thanks for the info, this makes the program even better than we believed it is....Buck
