D C wildlife
I'm going to buy D C wildlife scenes however I noticed the the bear that I need is not shown ion the models but in the advertising, it the one pictured next to the cd on the home page. Am I missing something? Does this model have to be purchased in addition to dc1 and can it be dropped into a scene ? I can cut models apart in aspire is this what I have to do ? Thanks Dan

Re: D C wildlife
I've got DC1 and I've just gone through all the models, tutorials and bonus scenes without being able to see that bear. Pretty sure it's not included or it's very well hidden!

Any VectortArt3D model (or any you create yourself) can be combined with the other supplied models/scenes in DC. You can also use the Aspire tools to modify the models so you could convert the standing bear into a walking one.

Re: D C wildlife
Hi Dan,
The specific model is not included in the standard models on the DC disk so it must be a project created by a customer who has added that in themselves - ordinarily this would require additional purchase - it was not intended to mislead though and had we noticed we would not have used that image! However, as the bear is a model I created myself many years ago I have added it to the Additional Resources page for Design and Carve customers: http://www.designandcarve.com/library/
So now this is a model you will have access to (for free) when you purchase the disk and we have tagged your online account. Any existing Design and Carve customers can also login and access this (if their account is tagged - email us if not). Hopefully this is a good solution all round.
Regards,
James

Re: D C wildlife
Thanks James I was looking for a bear like that the other day and now I have one. Still looking forward to a new Design and Carve Series. I have both of the other ones and use them quite a lot.
Have a great Christmas.

I've been trying to send you a PM but the system says you don't exist! I need to talk to you about my Wildlife disk...
I went to the website and sent the email! Thanks!

Re: D C wildlife
Mark - thanks for the gentle reminder. We are making slow but steady progress, no news yet though...
Mike - you should be able to PM me, not sure why that did not work. Someone in Support will be replying to you though today.
Thanks,
James

Re: D C wildlife
User error, James! I think I have it figured out now...
Mark Moran sent me an email and explained the issue to me. This might be a good learning experience for others! What is the proper procedure for transferring ownership of Vectric properties?
I appreciate your going the extra mile for me James! I owe you!

Re: D C wildlife
In terms of transferring ownership of Vectric software then the details are here: http://support.vectric.com/aspire-quest ... fer-policy
With regard to Design and Carve it is in effect content not software and is governed by the Vector Art 3D License Agreement http://www.vectorart3d.com/license - so ownership cannot be transferred to someone else as per the downloads and other 3D collections.
Thanks,
James
