Axis Problem
Axis Problem
Hello, I recently upgraded Mach2 to Mach3 and now my problem is when I go to run my controller the z axis plunges down into the wood and then bach up and starts to cut. Anyone out there that can help me with this would certainly be appreciated. Thanks

Re: Axis Problem
Hi Custom,
go to the main mach screen, and at the top, left side, click on config, click homing/limits, there , beside the z axis is either a red x, or a green check mark. Whatever it is, change it to the other.( if it is green now, make it red or vice versa). That plunge sounds like it is trying to go to your safe z which should be the other direction-up.
Let us know your progress.
