Hello, how do I adjust my Z axis stepper motor to get proper depth. Can anyone explain this to me. All I know is that it has 2500 steps to it. I bought this as a custom made machine. Could the motor tuning on z affect this or does anyone have any suggestions?

It seems to me that whoever made your custom machine would be the ideal source of information on how to set up the machine and get it running. Have you asked them?

custom did you look at your other thread?
If you zero the z axis on the table and then comand it to move up say 2inches does it move that distance? If not then you need to adjust your resolution on that axis.
